Are you a video game developer, YouTube film creative, podcast host, or real estate agent showcasing a virtual tour of homes?

You need awesome background music to complete your project.

Who can provide the right piece of original, royalty-free music to elevate your project from good to great yet stay within your lean, COVID-19 budget?

Meet Jay Man, founder of OurMusicBox, at https://www.our-music-box.com/

Who is Jay Man?

Jay Man is a multi-talented music maven who has composed and recorded more than 5,000 pieces of music, ranging from Old World classical to cutting-edge EDM. Jay’s collection might be the most extensive digital inventory written, produced, and offered by a single composer and musician.

Jay always knew he wanted to be a musician, and started his musical journey by playing the piano at age nine, the same age at which he and his family got saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. By age 15, Jay had completed his classical music training.

“After high school [was] when the journey really kicked off,” says Jay. He learned to play acoustic, electric, and bass guitars, saxophones, and drums and earned degrees in Music Production, as well as in Audio Engineering.

Experience Music Born of the Spirit Plus Technique

As a believer and follower of Jesus Christ, Jay is well aware his gifts, talents, and blessings come from above, and he takes nothing for granted. He approaches making music with a foundation of faith underlying his technical knowledge and skills.

Jay says,“I always pray that the Lord will always inspire me to just create something I and everyone else would be proud of. As I play multiple instruments, I’ll play what is needed for the particular piece, and everything is run through my PC workstation. Technically, I use mainly Cubase for all of my composing, arranging, and mixing.”

Sample Jay’s Compositions

Jay offers original music of every genre and style, allowing him to cover a wide range of projects.

Reap Benefits From Jay’s Gifts

What is more astonishing than the size, originality, variety, and quality of Jay’s musical library?

The fact that Jay Man offers many of his compositions free for the asking.

Yes, that’s right: FREE. In this out-to-make-a-buck world, Jay has given and continues to give away numerous pieces of music. There are no charges, no copyright restrictions, and no royalty payments.

What is Jay’s motivation for giving?

“I truly believe in providing value first. The rewards will come. Sow, then you will reap, pressed down and running all over — it’s Biblical,” Jay says, referring to Luke 6:38 (“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”); Galatians 6:7 (“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”); and 2 Corinthians 9:6 (“But this [I say], He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.”).

With more than 31,000 subscribers to his “OurMusicBox” YouTube channel, Jay Man must be doing something right.

Choose From Free and Competitively Priced Tracks

While Jay gives away some of his older music for free, his website www.our-music-box.com is where he updates the catalog continually. “These tracks and albums are for sale, which is where I make my money,” Jay explains.

The tracks and albums are competitively priced. Each track is just $1, and albums are only $5.

Jay welcomes donations for his free and paid compositions. The effects of COVID-19 have cut into his business travel and marketing, so contributions and purchase creatives make are even more significant. Keeping a steady cash flow helps Jay continue to produce the high quality, quantity, and variety of musical selections his fans enjoy.

“There are options to donate by using the “Donate” buttons on the site, and I’ve received quite generous ones,” Jay says, with his characteristic humility.

Commission a Custom Composition

Jay loves working with creatives who want one-of-a-kind compositions. If you can’t find what you need, he makes it easy to contact him via his website and through social media to commission your bespoke music:

Heed Words of Advice for Creatives

Now 45 years old, Jay Man has more than 20 years of experience in producing fresh, high-quality artistic content consistently. Whether you are an indie filmmaker in New York City or an aspiring musician in Kuala Lumpur, you have to overcome some of the same hurdles in the creative process. Does Jay have any advice for fellow artists and entrepreneurs striving for success?

“In any creative endeavor, regardless of the art form, the most important thing is to just START doing something. Overcome the “writer’s block” which affects all of us creatives. Procrastination is the killer. Because we can always edit/redo. There’s always a second, third…draft. Do it first, then edit. We need to move first, then God will move,” Jay says.

Contact Jay Man at OurMusicBox, https://www.our-music-box.com/ to make a donation, buy a professional music soundtrack, and download free tunes to enhance your YouTube or Twitch video, indie film, or other media projects. Your audience will thank you for it, and so will Jay.
